Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for accuracy and customer service? Join our team as a Financial Services Officer and play a vital role in ensuring seamless financial processing and exceptional service delivery.

  • Full-time, continuing position
  • Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas
  • HEWL 4: $72,701 - $77,229 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits.

WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE

Join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional financial services that support the success of JCU's students, staff, suppliers, and wider community. You'll play a key role in ensuring financial information is accurate, transactions are processed efficiently, and stakeholders receive timely, professional support that helps keep the University operating smoothly.

With exposure to a broad range of financial activities, you'll build expertise in customer service, financial processing, data integrity, vendor and debtor management and compliance. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas that enhance processes, improve customer experiences, and drive continuous improvement, making a meaningful impact on the delivery of financial services across the University.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in getting the details right, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

You will bring experience in financial transaction processing, a sound understanding of financial policies and procedures, and confidence using financial systems, ideally Finance One. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will help you build positive relationships with stakeholders and respond effectively to a variety of enquiries. Experience working in a higher education or corporate environment will be highly regarded.
