As a Financial Services Officer, you'll provide financial processing and transaction support, maintain accurate records, assist with reconciliations, and respond to stakeholder enquiries. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your finance skills in a collaborative and service-oriented university environment.
- Full-time, continuing opportunity | 36.25 hours per week
- Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas
- HEWL 4: $72,701.16 - $77,229.47 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Financial Services Officer supports the University's financial operations through accurate transaction processing, record management, and responsive customer service. Working within Financial and Business Services, you will maintain data integrity, support vendor and debtor administration, complete reconciliations and provide timely information to stakeholders. You will also contribute to improvements that strengthen service delivery and operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will bring relevant qualifications and experience in financial transaction processing, together with a sound understanding of financial procedures, policies, and compliance requirements. Your attention to detail, customer service focus and communication skills will support your ability to work accurately with financial information and build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficiency in computer-based financial systems is essential, with experience using FinanceOne highly regarded.
