We now have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Space Systems Coordinator to join the Estate Directorate within the Services Division.
- Full-time opportunity | 36.25 hours per week | Full-time role.
- Townsville location | Travel between campuses may be required from time to time.
- HEWL 6: $90,821 - $98,369 plus up to 17% superannuation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Space Systems Coordinator, you will maintain accurate and accessible space, building and occupancy information across JCU's facilities and space management systems. You will coordinate data validation, system updates, desktop and on-site audits, and prepare reliable plans, reports and analysis to inform space allocation, utilisation, workplace planning and minor works decisions.
Working closely with University stakeholders, you will provide responsive systems support, training and guidance, resolve complex data and workflow issues, coordinate requests and inspections, and identify practical improvements to systems, data and service processes. You will also help ensure records and activities meet relevant University requirements, building information standards and workplace health and safety obligations.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will bring relevant qualifications and experience, together with demonstrated experience administering information, facilities, space management or comparable corporate systems. You will be confident maintaining data integrity, resolving complex system and data issues, and using sound judgement to manage competing priorities under general to broad direction.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, consultation and customer service skills are essential, including the ability to prepare clear reports and guidance, deliver training and build productive relationships across organisational levels. Knowledge of data governance, records management and facilities compliance, and experience with CAD, GIS, building information modelling or space visualisation tools, will be highly regarded.
