We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Centre Operations to ensure the Indigenous Education and Research Centre (IERC) delivers on its purpose - advancing Indigenous self-determination through education, research, and community engagement.
- Full-time, continuing position
- Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas
- HEWL 8: $108,964 - $125,126 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits
- This is an identified position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Indigenous Education and Strategy, this role is responsible for managing and coordinating the Centre’s operational systems, governance, budgeting, planning, reporting, and compliance while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You will bring proven experience in operational leadership within a complex organisation, excellent planning and communication skills, and a strong understanding of how universities can contribute to Indigenous capability-building. A relevant degree (particularly in business, public administration, or organisational management) with experience in planning, finance, or administration is essential.
