Assist in the establishment, operation and coordination of clinical trials in a supportive and collaborative research environment at the QRC-PVD.

How you’ll make a difference

The role will be responsible for recruiting and assessing participants, collecting accurate outcome data, and ensuring the integrity and quality of all data in accordance with contractual requirements. You will provide critical oversight of study site operations, including maintaining study files and liaising with collaborating centres.  The role will also:

  • Support clinical trial coordinators through the accurate completion of ethics documentation, site-specific assessments, clinical trial agreements, reporting obligations, and registry management.
  • Contribute to ensuring compliance with legislation and Good Clinical Practice Guidelines by assisting in the provision of guidance across clinical research teams.
  • Help maintain effective communication and coordination across projects by supporting meeting planning and management.
  • Manage research logistics, procurement  and respond directly to stakeholder and participant queries, ensuring continuity, compliance, and the high-quality execution of our funded research projects.

 

What you’ll bring 

  • An enthusiasm and passion to improve the health of those living with peripheral vascular disease.
  • A knowledge of vascular disease, hospital systems, research industry, including ethics approvals and code of conduct for research.
  • Experience in preparation and publishing of research material for various media including journals and conference presentations and publications.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in relating to a range of stakeholders, including research institutions, academics, clinicians and field researchers, and the ability to write effectively and competently in the use of Information and Communication Technology.
  • High-level organisational and time management skills with the ability to respond to competing priorities and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

 

About The Queensland Centre for Peripheral Vascular Disease (QRC-PVD)
The Queensland Research Centre for Peripheral Vascular Disease (QRC-PVD) within the College of Medicine and Dentistry is dedicated to improving the management of peripheral vascular disease (PVD). Studies focus on presenting complaints and complications of PVD, however we are always evolving with new findings from our studies.

Our experienced research team uses a broad range of techniques including vivo pre-clinical models, in vitro studies, genomics, genetics, bio-informatics, molecular biology, epidemiology, clinical trials, health economics and complex statistical analyses.
