Clinical Teaching Associate – Join a Respected Program at JCU

James Cook University is seeking Clinical Teaching Associates (CTAs) to join our highly respected CTA Program, which has been running successfully since 2003.

This role is ideal for physically healthy women who are passionate about education and supporting future healthcare professionals.

CTAs teach 4th-year medical students breast and pelvic examination techniques in a supportive and controlled environment.

You will be examined by students during practical sessions and provide feedback to help them develop clinical skills and confidence.

Comprehensive training is provided in anatomy, physiology, cervical screening, infection control, and communication skills.

Applicants must have normal pelvic anatomy including cervix, uterus, and at least one ovary. Prior breast/pelvic surgery does not necessarily exclude you.

This is a paid opportunity to contribute up to 60 hours to meaningful medical education in a respectful and professional setting.
