About the role
Reporting to the Head of Clinical School, you will contribute to the leadership, development and delivery of Paediatrics within the MBBS program. You will teach and assess medical students across clinical rotations, deliver tutorials and lectures, coordinate paediatric rosters, and support Year 5 rotations.
You will play a key role in ongoing curriculum development, engage in the scholarship of teaching and learning, and contribute to collaborative research relevant to the health needs of northern Australia.
About you
You are a passionate clinician-educator who brings:

Registration as a medical practitioner in Australia

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) or equivalent
-
Substantial clinical experience in Paediatrics, including rural and/or remote practice
-
Experience teaching undergraduate medical students

A record of scholarship relevant to paediatric health
-
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative practice
Experience or demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander paediatric health care will be highly regarded.
