About the Role

James Cook University (JCU) is seeking a passionate and driven Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute to the groundbreaking project: “Advancing Workplace Gender Equality through Effective Allyship.”

In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior researchers to design and implement impactful studies, analyse data, publish in leading journals, and support student supervision. You’ll also have opportunities to engage with industry and community partners, secure research funding, and contribute to JCU’s broader academic mission.

 

About You

Essential:

  • PhD (completed or near completion) in psychology or a related discipline (e.g., sociology, public policy, social sciences, gender studies, business).
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research.
  • Proven skills in analysing qualitative and/or quantitative data.
  • Track record of disseminating research findings (e.g., publications, conference presentations).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience with website content analysis, interviews, or longitudinal survey methods.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders and mentoring research students.
