- Based at The Cairns Institute
The Administration Officer provides high‑quality administrative, organisational and customer service support to FNQ Connect, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations and excellent service to staff, students and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional administrative and secretarial support aligned with University processes
- Prepare accurate correspondence, documents, data entry and maintain systems.
- Coordinate workflow, scheduling, meetings and diary management.
- Provide timely communication and stakeholder support.
- Contribute to continuous service and process improvements.
What You Bring
- Qualifications/experience aligned with HEWL 5 and the JCU Enterprise Agreement.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft applications and databases
- Proven customer service skills and ability to manage high enquiry volumes.
- Effective organisational and time‑management skills; ability to prioritise.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Monday.Com and Salesforce preferred
